Mutation is a collection of beats written from 2002-2003 in Chico, CA. During this time a love of instrumental hip hop and Bay Area beat music influenced the sound of these tracks. Producers like DJ Shadow, Dan the Automator, El P, and RJD2. Many of these songs were not intended to be released in this form - they were written for vocalists or rappers, but as time went on, they ended up on a dusty hard drive and overlooked.

15 years later they've been lovingly restored and remastered.
